DISC GOLF IS CHALLENGING ENOUGH
YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO COMPETE AGAINST YOUR OWN BODY AS WELL.
We needed a movement in our sport.
A culture shift towards treating our bodies like athletes by preparing them through athletic development and performance training.
According to a University of Arizona study, the injury rate in our sport is around 81%. That number is shocking and must be reduced for both the health of our players and the sport.
I started Disc Golf Strong in 2015 with the mission of helping disc golf athletes of all skill levels, ages, and abilities play strong, healthy, injury-resistant, and resilient disc golf, so they can play as much as they want and for as long as they want.

I heard a warm-up described once as “pre-gaming” your muscles and I could not agree more.
The forces created inside your body while throwing are high enough to not only propel a disc down the field at an impressive distance, but also create havoc in joints, ligaments, and muscles that aren’t prepared to withstand them.
A proper warm-up routine will help prepare your body to not only perform athletically, but also lower your risk of injury.
